This week we went for a walk donwtown. Our model, my sister Olivia, was terrific. We ended up behind the Zeeland Museum where we experimented with light reflectors.
As you can see from these photos, a light reflector can go a long way in bringing the punch of directional light to your photo. It also helps separate your subject from the background which is always good!

Here's a decent but not eye popping photo.

This one is better! We changed to a longer lens for better
perspective. Added in some reflected light to separate
from the background, and lowered the shutter speed
just a bit to let in a little more light.
